Reading#
In my free time, I enjoy reading. It’s a habit that has stuck with me since childhood, when my mother and I would visit the library every few weeks to borrow new books, something I always looked forward to. That routine sparked my love for reading, which has only grown over the years.
These days, reading is how I like to wind down in the evenings. After a day of work, I usually exercise, have dinner, and then spend some quiet time with a book before going to sleep. I’m especially drawn to thrillers, my grandfather often shares the latest David Baldacci novel with me after he’s finished it himself. I also enjoy books about history or sports, particularly cycling.
Reading is a big part of holidays too; as a family, we often bring multiple books along so we can all read during quiet moments. I’ve tracked most of what I’ve read over the years on Goodreads, which helps me look back at what I’ve enjoyed, and what to read next.
