Through FlexDelft, I contributed to several TU Delft Civil Engineering courses, combining teaching, content development, and technical implementation in various roles.

  • Concrete & Steel Structures (BSc)
    Supported ~300 students over two years by designing assignments, grading, hosting question hours, and supervising exams.

  • Steel Experiment – Bouwplaats Course
    Guided students through assignments on bolted steel connections (Eurocode 3) and tensile test data analysis.

  • Finite Elements in Civil Engineering – TeachBook
    Maintained the Jupyter Book on GitHub, implementing Timoshenko beam elements with reduced integration and interactive convergence plots.

    Helped develop an open textbook from scratch to support 400+ students with structural design of concrete, steel, and timber.

What is FlexDelft?

FlexDelft is a staffing agency in Delft that connects TU Delft students with flexible part-time jobs, with a strong focus on teaching assistant (TA) roles. They offer opportunities to support education by assisting in courses, labs, and tutorials across various faculties. FlexDelft works closely with the university to match students with TA positions that fit their studies and schedules
